I Have A Bit Of A Thing For Pink Glitter

So I’ve been keeping things very same-y with my nails lately, which is very unusal for me as I’m generally pretty fickle when it comes to my talons. I was always convinced that I’d never get gel nails purely beause I would get sick of having the same colour for more than a week at a time.
Now that I have Invisalign though (you can see me rambling about this here and here) I started to get a bit irritated by how quickly my nails would start chipping since I basically have to use them to take my aligners in and out of my mouth a couple of times a day and the wear and tear was something I saw coming.
So I’ve invested in a Sensationail kit, and a couple of colours, and I’m actually really loving it. I’ve actually been wearing the colour ‘Pink Chiffon Rose’ for almost two months straight now. I’ve reapplied it a couple of times during that time, but it’s unusual for me to wear a colour for that long! I might do a full post on Sensationail soon, but the point is I think I have a bit of a baby pink obsession right now. I even bought a baby pink case for my iPhone. I obviously can’t use it while it matches my nails though, we wouldn’t want to be too matchy matchy.
This week I decided to add a bit of sparkle, and I couldn’t resist treating myself to the Models Own Splash collection box set. I love glitter, and I love flakies, so there probably hasn’t been a collection yet that is more up my street than this one. I’m really excited to try out all the colours, but for now I’ve been testing out Pink Paradise on top of my Sensationail. I also did a few coats of Topshop Ice Crush as an alternative accent on my index finger and I like the way they look together. I just really reeeaaally love glitter, huh?
