Empties #3

I took a look at my box of empties yesterday, and realised how big the pile had got! It’s only been just over a month since my last empties post, but I’ve managed to fill my little box right up, and I thought it was about time to share my thoughts.Batiste Dry Shampoo – Graffiti, Lace, XXL Volume – I have given you my thoughts on Batiste dry shampoo already (here and here), so I’m sure you don’t need reminding how much I love it. But this just goes to show just how much I use! I cannot be without it. Lee Stafford Hair Treatment For Hair That Never Grows Past A Certain Length – I gave my thoughts about this hair treatment in this empties post, so I won’t go on about it, but to summarise I love it, and have already repurchased. Sally Hansen Insta-dri Top Coat – Again, a product I talked about in a previous empties post. This is my favourite top coat, and I keep on repurchasing it over and over. Rapidlash – This stuff is incredible for giving you lovely long lashes. I started using this what seems like a very long time ago indeed. I am thinking about doing a full review on this, to help those who might be unsure whether they want to drop £41 on a lash serum. Lush Mask Of Magnaminty – I could have sworn I’d done a full review on this face mask, but apparently not. This is my favourite face mask, and I have tried a fair few. It really helps with any breakouts, I love the way it smells, and it always leaves me skin feeling really soft. I also like that you can exfoliate with it while removing it. I have already repurchased this. The fact it doesn’t go off as quickly as the other Lush masks doesn’t hurt either. Bare Minerals Original Foundation – I used to use this as my main and only foundation when I had fabulous skin. Then when I had horrible skin I used to use it over a thick liquid foundation for extra coverage. It’s great for both of these purposes, and I have been using it since I was about 17. I use the shade ‘fairly light’. YSL Touche Eclat – I did really love this product, but at the moment I have such dark circles that my Collection Lasting Perfection is much more appropriate for undereye use, and although the highlighting properties are lovley, I don’t think I will be repurchasing any time soon as it’s a bit pricey for something that I don’t NEED. MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation – This foundation is fantastic if you want a really full coverage, and I absolutely love it. It’s also really good for anybody with dry skin, as it is gel based. I love the feel and application of this, as well as the coverage. I accidentally repurchased the wrong shade, not realising how much I have tanned since I last needed the coverage, and need to pay a trip to MAC to see if I can exchange this! Trafford Centre, here I come. Mini Urban Decay Primer Potion – This was what came in my Naked Palette when I bought it ages ago, and I used this on the go as I already have the full size and have repurchased it many times. I might give this a wash out and refill it if I ever need to downsize for traveling. Garnier Hydralock Moisturiser – This was okay. I liked the smell, but I didn’t really feel like it moisturised me quite as much as my skin needs, and sometimes when I’d just shaved my legs it stung a bit which is a bit weird. I still used it all up, but I probably wouldn’t repurchase this. It would probably be fine for somebody else, but I need a bit more moisture than this provides, and have other moisturisers I like better.
